iTHRIVE Cancer Survivorship Plan Wins Pitch Competition

iTHRIVE Investment Potential Shines Through in “Shark Tank” Style Environment at 4GenNow Event

Boulder, Colo., Nov 27, 2017 — “The pitch competition was among the most anticipated events at the 4GenNow Denver Power Partners Summit held at the University of Denver on Friday November 17th,” said event organizer and 4GenNow co-founder Jim Sugarman. iTHRIVE CEO and co-creator Karolyn Gazella had 10 minutes to “pitch” why iTHRIVE is a great investment and then she took questions from the judges. “Karolyn epitomizes the heart, soul, and business acumen necessary to succeed. As the Summit took place on Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, she demonstrated the best qualities of not only women entrepreneurs but all entrepreneurs anywhere in the world,” said Sugarman.

In addition to the more than 300 event attendees, there were four judges evaluating the iTHRIVE pitch:

  • Peter Adams, Executive Director of Rockies Venture Club
  • Lizelle van Vuuren, CEO of Women Who Startup
  • Shina Culberson, CEO of Quist Valuation
  • Andrea Weaver, CEO of Colorado Technology Association

The purpose of the Summit and the 4GenNow organization is to bring together four generations of entrepreneurs and investors (iGen, Millennials, GenX, and Boomers). “We exceeded our goals and consider this inaugural event a smashing success,” said Sugarman. “We were thrilled to see Karolyn win the pitch competition and we are confident iTHRIVE Plan will fulfill its mission to help improve the quality and quantity of the lives of millions of people touched by cancer.”

“It was truly an honor to be asked to compete at the 4GenNow event,” said Gazella. “The event was hugely successful at illustrating the intergenerational power that can come from merging talents from several or all of the generations. The passion and commitment of the dynamic father-daughter founder team of Jim and Samantha Sugarman came through loud and clear.” For more information, visit 4GenNow.com.
