About Dr. Espinosa

Geo Espinosa, ND, LAc, CNS, is a renowned naturopathic urologist and is a recognized authority in natural and complementary treatments for benign and malignant urological conditions. Dr. Espinosa is the director of the Integrative Urology Center at New York University Langone Medical Center (NYULMC). He received his doctorate of naturopathic medicine and masters in acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Espinosa is the creator and developer of the CaPLESS Method, a structured lifestyle program for men with prostate cancer. Dr. Espinosa is a contributing author to the Textbook of Natural Medicine and Advancing Medicine with Food and Nutrition. He has also published in several high impact journals and is an avid writer at his popular blog DrGeo.com. Dr. Espinosa lectures internationally on the integrative management of urological conditions and the CaPLESS method for prostate cancer. Before joining NYUMC, Dr. Espinosa spent 5 years as a clinician, researcher and director of clinical trials at the Center for Holistic Urology, Columbia University Medical Center under Dr. Aaron Katz. Dr. Espinosa is a professional member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
